Diabetes mellitus or simply diabetes is a metabolic illness that is characterized by high glucose in the blood. Blood carries glucose into cells of different body organs for energy needs. A hormone called insulin, which is secreted by the pancreas moves sugar from the blood into your cells. High blood sugar levels are the result of defects in the hormone secretion or the body’s ability to use insulin hormone.  
Common Types Of Diabetes:
Type 1 diabetes: 
Often known as adolescent diabetes, happens when the body neglects deliver insulin. The pancreatic cells that produce insulin are destroyed. Around 10 percent of people with diabetes have this type.
Type 2 diabetes:
This is the most common type of diabetes. Type 2 diabetes has solid connections with obesity. It happens when the body resists insulin and sugar level increases in the blood.

People with type I diabetes and some patients with type 2 diabetes may need to take insulin injections  to maintain blood sugar levels. Maintaining weight and some exercises help a lot to recover from type 2 diabetes. In addition to that balanced lifestyle and awareness are effective in managing the condition.
